What we do
We specialize in the erection and fabrication of steel structures, which include but are not limited to: warehouses, factories, multi-storey steel buildings, stadiums, petrol stations, churches, water tanks, towers, and bridges. With today’s advancements in research and technology, the use of structural steel and reinforced concrete together creates a composite design which is being implemented in construction across the world. Zenith Steel is the bona fide pioneer of multi-storey building technology in East Africa.
Multi-Storey Steel Buildings
With today’s advanced technology and latest innovations, the use of structural steel and concrete composite design is being applied in the construction of multi-storey buildings. In addition to a faster construction speed an increased economy is achieved when applying such design techniques.
Zenith Steel Fabricators Ltd honors itself in know-how and understanding of the engineering involved in the design, fabrication and erection of structural steel. Steelwork is fabricated off-site under controlled conditions, ensuring a high-quality product and finish. Most steelwork used in the structure is recyclable. Zenith Steel Fabricators Ltd prides itself in the supply of go-downs and warehouses, airplane hangers, towers, bridges and crane buildings.
The Zen Tank is a product designed to meet clients requirements. It is a combination of pressed plates configured to offer a range of storage capacities for water for domestic, industrial and commercial use. The strength and robustness are key aspects of the design and fabrication of the Zen Tank.
* All Zen Steel Tanks are protected against rust by galvanisation and applying paint on both the inside and outside prior to dispatch.
Zen Sheeting is an angular trapezoidal ribbed corrugated profile, that made from pre-painted coils.
Zen Purlins are made by rolling cold-formed sheets to manufacture steelwork for supporting the roof. The Zen Purlin is unique in its design, whereby stiffeners have been introduced in its cross-section to form cost-effective solutions to support roofing sheets. The Zen Purlin is manufactured from an automated CNC line that reads drawings from a Tekla model and automatically punches and cuts purlins to required lengths.
Zen Castellated Beams
A castellated beam is a commonly used name for expanded beams, the name has been derived from the patterns seen the web holes which means “built like a castle, having battlements”. They are used in roof beams/rafters in both portal frames and cantilever construction, chassis of trailers, mezzanine floor beams, girders and bridges.
Zen Thermal Membranes
The Thermal Membrane is manufactured by a continuous lamination process of low-density polyethylene and aluminum foil with sealed bubbles or air between the two outer laminates.
Zen Racks are usually used in big warehouses in order to store various materials and products. Today Zen racks are becoming increasingly popular among manufacturing companies, department stores and all midsized and larger businesses that require warehouses for better operation. Zen Racks are an integral part of any warehousing system and provide several substantial benefits.
Zen Fiber is a high-performance monofilament polypropylene fiber developed for controlling cracking in concrete brought about by plastic and drying shrinkage, by reducing permeability. Just as graded aggregates enhance concrete strength, the graded range of Zen Fibers are designed to enhance structural integrity. The Zen Fiber consists of short discrete fibers that are uniformly distributed and randomly oriented within the concrete.
The Zen House is available in attractive designs with the finishing on each tailor-made to suit individual tastes and budget. The Zen House is primarily a steel frame system with insulated concrete wall panels. Zen Houses are designed such that they are quick and easy to construct on site.
The Zen Trailer is a range of the tri-axle Trailers, the need for quality and well-priced Trailers within the region has been the driving factor for this project. A Trailer is an unpowered vehicle towed by a powered vehicle. It is commonly used for the transport of goods and materials.
Light Gauge Steel Frames
This steel is cold formed, meaning long, thin sheets are guided through a series of rollers to bend and shape the sheets into strong “C” forms capable of holding heavy loads. They can be sized to conform and can be bent for architectural purposes. The Zen Light Gauge Steel comes in coils which are pre-galvanized with zinc for corrosion protection.
