Job Summary
Zenith Steel Fabricators Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead civil and structural projects, including structural steel works. This full-time role involves managing project planning and execution, preparing designs and specifications, supervising construction, coordinating with teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Strong expertise in steel design, fabrication, and site supervision is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design structural steel members in accordance with BS 5950 standards.
- Prepare, review, and interpret structural and fabrication drawings.
- Coordinate between the design office, fabrication workshop, and project sites.
- Supervise the execution and installation of structural steel projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered within timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Provide technical support to the fabrication and production teams.
- Develop and issue accurate quotations for steel fabrication and construction projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3+ years of experience in steel fabrication and structural project execution.
- Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, workshop processes, and construction site management.
- Proven ability to interpret design plans, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management, engineering, and project planning.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and building codes.
- Familiarity with Electrical Engineering principles is a plus.
