Why Panel Thickness Matters in Large Capacity
Not all steel water tanks are engineered equally. Many market alternatives use a one-size-fits-all uniform panel thickness across the entire tank – a dangerous shortcut that compromises performance.
- Hydrostatic Load Distribution
Water pressure increases with depth. Zenith calculates load models so lower panels (up to 6mm thick) can carry intense pressure, preventing outward bulging and cracking.

Our mild steel plates are cold-formed and embossed with our distinctive “Z” mark, ensuring structural integrity and authentic BS1564:1975 compliance.

Elevated Zen Towers
Engineered for gravity-fed pressure. Platforms are fabricated using heavy-duty I-beams and 2.1mm chequered plates. Includes 610mm perimeter walkways, 900mm handrails, extensive bracings, and secure cat-ladders. Mandatory skid base included.
Ground Level / RC Bearers
Installed securely on ground bearer beams using structural I-beams or Reinforced Concrete (RC) plinths. For large volume storage, a skid base is mandatory to ensure perfect stability and even hydrostatic weight distribution over time.
Rooftop Integration
Ideal for commercial multi-storey buildings in Kampala. Can be placed upon a custom platform above the roof or integrated within the roof structure using specialized ground bearer beams to safely translate load to the building columns.
