Zenith Steel Fabricators Ltd is a leading steel fabrication firm that specializes in the design, fabrication, and erection of all types of structural steel works. The works that Zenith undertakes ranges in types and size including industrial, commercial, religious, institutional, governmental and private clients.
The company was established in 1977 as a small fabrication workshop and has, ever since, expanded progressively to combine experienced and highly skilled personnel with a successful history of undertaking and delivering projects.
Zenith Steel Fabricators Ltd has commissioned the first automated structural steel fabrication workshop in East and Central Africa. Our top priority is delivering superior-quality structural steel solutions within the shortest possible turnaround time. The facility is equipped with advanced automated shot blasting systems, CNC cutting and drilling lines, complemented by expert manual welding and airless spray painting.
Our unwavering commitment to quality has enabled Zenith to establish a strong presence across the region. We currently operate in Kenya and across neighboring markets, including Uganda, Tanzania, the DRC, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Sudan, and Ethiopia—serving diverse industries with reliability, precision, and excellence.

Our History
Chronology of events/milestones that shaped the growth of the Company:
1970S
- Zenith Steel Fabricators Ltd was established in 1977.
1980s
- 1982 – Premises acquisition along Enterprise road.
- 1984 – Moved into a small shed along Enterprise Road that served as the Head office and workshop premises
- 1986 – Built the office space at its Enterprise Road premises and started quoting for Industrial Buildings projects in Nairobi
1990s
- 1990 – Invested in electric overhead traveling cranes within the workshop. Mobile cranes were also acquired to speed up installation
- 1998 – Undertake projects outside Nairobi, expanding its horizon throughout Kenya
2000s
- 2001 – Appointed New Directors. The founding Directors resigned
- 2002 – With the new directors, the company started working aggressively around Kenya
- 2006 – Expanded its Export Division into Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda
2010s
- 2011 – Invested in an automatic Multi-Cam machine reducing castellation time of beams from 7 hours to 10 minutes
- 2014 – Acquired a rolling line and began rolling Zen Sheets using imported PPGI coils. With its sheeting line, this marked a significant milestone for the Company providing a significant competitive advantage for supply sheets on Zenith’s projects
- 2015 – Started to roll decking sheets and also began the Zen Tank Division
- 2016 – Began manufacturing and rolling Pre-Galvanized C purlins
- 2017 – Commissioned its fully automated Fabrication workshop with automatic shot blasting, CNC cutting and drilling lines
- 2017 – Started the Service Centre Division
- 2019 – Expanded its workshop facility in Isinya to add new CNC plate processing and CNC angle processing machines. This was in addition to increasing the footprint area, accommodating a larger paint and dispatch area
2020s
- 2020 – Appointed new CEO on 1st March 2020
- 2020 – Commissioned the “Zen Sky Deck”; a 120 m long sky bridge going through the workshop. This gives a panoramic view of the shop floor that dramatically increases customer confidence
- 2021 – Acquisition of a new rolling line to manufacture Corrugated Web Purlins, a product that has an Industrial Design Patent
- 2021 – Constructed the Zenith’s Service Center Showroom at Enterprise Road
